Corn Syrup Pump To Tank – Viking Pump
A major Food company produces products in bulk, which are then packaged in large totes and shipped to other plants for further processing. Corn syrup is delivered to the plant via rail car and offloaded to multiple storage tanks located in an enclosed area just off the loading docks. Space is tight and the unloading process can be challenging. Additionally, the existing process required multiple valves to be opened and closed manually to get the product to the proper tank. The customer wanted to reduce the overall footprint of the existing setup and automate the process as well.
