There are no voids, crevasses, or turbulence-inducing internal areas for cells to hide and grow in, so the cleaning media can work efficiently and effectively.
The Clean and Sterilise in Place Pump design pushes the effectiveness even further, as the Sterilobe pump range is fully self-draining when orientated in the vertical port position.
The Mechanical Seal faces are in line with the back of the pump rotors which makes it much easier for the cleaning fluid to reach the area around the seals, often the most troublesome areas in other designs.
The front cover O-Ring groove is contoured to follow the shape of the casing, which reduces the area where liquid can be trapped.
