The Rotorrake is a robust, single-shaft coarse chopper in an inline version.
Blades and counter-blades are mounted one after the other on the carrier shaft. The sturdily attached counter blades are each cleaned by rotating cutting blades on both sides. The blades are moved by the rotating shaft.
The Rotorrake comes in different sizes (throughput volumes of up to 800 m³/h) and tackles chopping tasks where others have failed - for chopping very coarse solids and blockages.

The Rotorrake is a blockage-free single-shaft coarse chopper with radial flow and excellent extraction of hard substances. Its powerful chopping force enables the Rotorrake to be used in applications such as waste water processing for effective chopping of solid items.
The solids fed in with the liquid flow through the counter blades which are fixed at an angle. The solids are then captured by the counter blades and chopped by the cutting action of the rotating blades. The chopped solids then continue to flow with the liquid. Coarse objects which cannot be chopped are ejected into the debris collector.
